Powderhound Preview, Pine Mountain Sports’ annual “Welcome to Winter” party, is slated for Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the Tower Theatre in downtown Bend. This year’s Powderhound Preview slide show will feature local photographers sharing stunning shots of steep mountain faces and deep telemark turns.
Besides taunting local outdoor lovers with images of powdery snow, we will give away more than $2500 of outdoor gear in a raffle that benefits Central Oregon Trail Alliance and Deschutes County Search and Rescue. Powder Hound Preview has raised more than $25,000 for local charities since its launch in 2000.
In addition, the audience will be showered with free shwag, such as hats, stickers, and water bottles.
Powderhound tickets are available starting November 1st, exclusively at Pine Mountain Sports. Cost is $12 in advance ($10 for club card members), $14 at the door. Bring ID; age 20 and under will be seated in upper level. Additional tickets for the outdoor gear raffle are available at the event. Raffle proceeds go directly to Central Oregon Trail Alliance and Deschutes County Search & Rescue.
The young athletes and instructors from Bend Endurance Academy will be hosting our valet/attended bicycle parking in front of the Tower during the show. Please ride your bike and make a donation to them that night to support their programs!
